Katarina has won several awards in international competitions such as the International Color Awards, The Loupe Awards, Black & White Spider Awards and was a finalist in the HIPA awards in 2014. She has been nominated twice for the prestigious Prix Pictet award. In 2018 Katarina took part in Xposure International Photography Festival with a solo exhibition and as a panelist with her Greenpeace story on deforestation in Indonesia. In 2019 she was published in a book by Women Photograph “100 best of 2019 press images” for her story on Pope Francis historic visit to the UAE, which she covered for the Vatican. She is FujiFilm X Ambassador, founder of the collective Photographers for Hope and also a member of Women Photographs. Below is a selection of reviews and articles.
